@iamgermane You are right, glad you noticed. My video on spray painting the steelies with graphite color shows the problem: XLT lug nuts have a smaller head so the push on center caps will not stay. Next time I swap, I will use XL size lugs I ordered from the dealer. Great input.

Yours is a step up for sure. Everyone focuses on the hybrid which is great but not as capable. And it can take 2 years to break even on the fuel savings vs the extra $1500 cost of the hybrid. You should post some FX4 videos Max, I will sub!

Wow, getting recommended by the tube! I am somebody now. Welcome deplorable, previous Deer Valley worker who knows the roads in PC. Last huge winter, I only had Conti street tires and got everywhere too. I hope you stay because I have over 150 Mav only videos you may like.

I mean, we have blizzaks on a civic and it will go anywhere except the ride height will eventually stop it, but otherwise it's solid in MN winters

I would love to buy a Maverick AWD I'm just worried about the ground clearance. Where I live we get alot of snow and the side street I live on they don't plow it to often so it gets pretty bad. There was a couple of times where I almost got stuck with my ram 1500 4x4 so I don't think a Maverick would be able to do it.😢

A Tremor is a little higher but it sounds like you need something like a Jeep Wrangler to get down your street. Too bad because those cost a lot more. Thanks for the info Steven!

Great question! Max are my Rossy 176 CM. And that is really working them into the upper ledge. Near the cutouts for the wood dividers. The good news is 176 CM and smaller are what most people ski on. Thanks for the compliment! Really. And thanks for subbing 5937.

Actually the Mav computer determines which wheels to engage. In normal driving conditions, the AWD version is only front wheel drive. Except for the Tremor because that has a button that locks AWD. Great question Linae!

@@fordmaverickmaniac I know there is a button you can use to turn tracking off. I have seen some videos where people turn it off to allow the wheels to spin to help free up the truck in snow etc. is that tracking different from the AWD?

@linaepaulsen6302 It's the button in the console that looks like a snail. Turns traction control off if you want all wheels to spin more freely. This helps you get out of muddy or sandy conditions.

Nice video! I had a 2024 hybrid XL with the keypad on order that’s already built and on its way, but a month ago I called my dealer to see if they had something similar to what I ordered for MSRP. My Dealer ended up selling me a new 2023 hybrid XL without the keypad, but some extras for 24k MSRP. I ended up saving 3k, on this purchase, and of course they keep the 2024 hybrid. If there is a way for me to install a keypad I’m getting it. I have it on my 2022 hybrid maverick and love it!!

Ya do not put your key FOB in your car. Windows can be unlocked and the FOB can shut off your alarm!
