I had a 22 Maverick and I traded it off for a 23 Tacoma. I didn't like most things on the Maverick. It was fragile, had bad paint, the electronics kept bugging out sometimes. Sometimes I miss it, but at the same time the quality was so iffy I didn't want to keep it.

I remember hearing a lot of quality issues from the first few years. 21/22's in most. But it seems from most people many of those issues had been resolved. However, this bluetooth issue is pretty annoying as someone who lives off bluetooth for music. As far as the Tacoma - my paycheck thanks you. (even though I deal with Camrys/Rav4s!) But to me they are just too expensive to get any of the features I want. A base Tacoma just doesn't cut it, and finding a 2wd version in my area is well, next to impossible. Dealers refuse to bring them in for some reason.

I still use a physical cable instead of wireless CarPlay or Bluetooth. I feel like the sound quality is a bit higher and I like being able to physically unplug it when the software takes a nose dive.

I'm pretty sure the physical cable doesn't work with Pandora. Which because of my random music taste of the day, is my lifeline. lol

@ All audio should be able to route through a usb cable but I’m in an Alltrack and a BRZ.

Yeah I've not been able to launch pandora via USB ever, unless it was through android auto wired in.
