I still own what I think is the last of the REAL compact pickups built. 2011 v6 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 extended cab. its built of real steal and minimal computer garbage. Todays ford trucks are thin stamped metal and 4cyl engines with a turbo to force power out of something it shouldn't. Has a standard trans and not some computer drives 8 speed automatic. It has 63k miles on it and has never seen the dealer since driving it away in December of 2010. Ill keep it over any small new truck today.

We had Broncos and an Expedition built there but I don’t know if any F-150 we had from there. Our trucks were all Norfolk or Kansas City. I’m excited to get the new Bronco soon built once again where it belongs in WAYNE!!!

If you pause it at 03:52 I can say I've never seen a paint job in 2 tone like that with the hood and top parts of the fenders in black to match the bottom black Unless that's a rubber covering on the hood

My 1931 Ford engine can from Dearborn, final assembly, Norfolk. My 2020 F150 Supercrew , 2.7 EB engine made Lima, Ohio it final assembled at Dearborn. My wife's 2020 ecosport 2.0l Duritic engine was made in Dearborn, assembled (final, India).I purchased 2 Ford cars during the China VIRUS..

This amazes me....How the heck could automakers get "tooled up" so quickly for model year changeovers...Seems like it would take almost a year just to do the changeover....

The reason auto plants can retool for model changeover so quickly is due to the training of skilled tradesmen who went through an apprenticeship program that makes product assembly plants run so efficiently. Although this is a speedy time lapse video, the job to transform the assembly plant to produce new model's, or entirely new vehicles is done by highly trained and skilled tradesmen and trades women. Too bad the younger generation in our society today want to keep their fingers and hands super clean sitting on their asses, and want a starting salary of 100 grand. If it wasn't for skilled trades people, you wouldn't have an automobile, airplane, furniture, or even the cell phone you're holding in your hand to watch KZbin. This country will grind to a complete halt when the snowflake generation have children. Due to the fact that their parents will raise them to be more of a pussy than they are. We will all benefit when the snowflake generation melts into the ground.
