I had a concours Mk2 RS Mexico a few years ago in Venetian Red, the standard 1600 Pinto in that was a lot less fun than the stunning BDG in this beautiful 1600 Sport though !! This car has to be the best 1600 Sport in the country for me

I had a 1979 Escort 1600 Sport when I was in the RAF in the mid 80's it was in a bright orange red colour, with the blacked out chrome trim and quarter bumpers on the front, one of my favourite cars I ever owned .👍👍👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧

Mk2s were made to go sideways. Back in the day I had an ex tarmac rally one. Things was that low I parked it on my lawn and when I backed it out it left a trench line from the diff. Awesome car. Wish I knew then what they be worth today.
