Nice find! When I take liquid tape it doesn't behave as I intend ((, but a shrink tube with glue adhesive lining inside is awesome for the weather sealed connection.

Thanks mate, shrinking tube with the glue it's great stuff but you know i've been repairing wires with liquid tape for a while and the cars never seem to come back so its hard for me to change, but i'll have a go next time 😉👍

Badgertronix cheers badger absolutely... the owner of the car was very happy too, he came around for me to check which sensor needed to be replaced l, and left with the car fixed bonus 😳😁😁👍

If I might suggest, use a small resistor of a known value at the sensor next time. It can be useful to know if there is any resistance in the wiring as well. Or Safety pins as well, but they cost more than the resistor 😉. Nice video as always

Thanks Keith, i'm always open to suggestions and that is a great idea, i could very easily jump the 2 wires with a resistor and kill two birds with 1 stone. thanks for the suggestion... 😁👍

Very good video. I like your diagnostic tablet also. Id love if you could go into greater detail on how to test for continuity especially when dealing with loom running from opposite ends of the car. Thanks

That diagnostic screen you use, delphi ds150e, is very handy and I may want to get one, so would you recommend this one, are you happy with it, and how much do they cost? Thanks, Alan in Norwich.

As a Diyer i'm very happy with it and i would recommend , off course just like any other Scan tool it doesn't work on every car but so far the only car that i had trouble with was my Renault Megane mk3. I bought mine from Ebay in 2017 and i paid £250 i believe... cheers Alan 👍

Óptimo! A Galaxy da minha mulher tem um problema parecido só que quando os sensores falham ouço um apito com frequência mais baixa e depois o sistema desliga. Não volta a funcionar até a ignição desligar e esperar pelo menos uns 10 minutos. Vives aonde Igor eu vivo em Wiltshire.

Awesome video mate. What if the sensors start beeping normally but there's nothing in front or behind the car. Do they just need a wash ?

Check if all the sensors are fixed in the right position sometimes the support brakes and it gets pushed in a little bit then sensing the bumper itself at all times

Hi I have the same problem with my Ford mondeo 2011. I have fixed one broken cable and I have one halfbroken but it still work when i measure it. It's in the rear of the car. But the sensors does still not work. Any tips? And what does the connectors called that you plug into the sensor I might have to replace one.

Finally a fix i have to try out, mine have had this error for about 6 years, and not even Ford themself did anything about it. Know what ny weekend is gonna be like now >.< Whats the carscanner you are useing btw?

Cars exposed ... Im not good with electrics. what setting on the volt metre do i set it to, and do i just stick a paperclip in as far as it goes?

Set the meter on ohms scale Ω , i would prefer to use a safe pin and becareful not to spread the connector pins

I solved this problem by holding the stereo on of button for 10 seconds, it did a reboot and then the converse+ link reappeared 😀👍
