JETTA 2009 before when I turned off the ESP the light on the screen stayed stable but now it flashes I can't find the problem please help if anyone knows

Hopefully you check your notifications 😂 My low speed runs fine. High speed does nothing. What do you think the cause of that is? Or do you have an idea of where I can start checking. I got my mini 05 S for $300. The axle was broken. I replace both axles and tie rods. Car ran fine, except it seemed to have a parasitic drain. I was wrong. It was the alternator all along. After I fixed the alternator now the car overheats instantly. I tested the fan, and only low-speed works. I'm guessing since high speed doesn't work, it's overheating. Idk. All I know is that this is a complete Frankenstein mini. There is so much crap tied to other crap that doesn't belong in here. Everything was fine until I changed the alternator. The belt is on correctly. Which is what led me to discovering the high speed isn't working. I have no idea why the car didn't overheat before the alternator swap, and now it does. Im lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's such a small, simple car to work on, and yet I'm am utterly lost.

What if you have older model and clutch went and you had to break and car cut out and won't start and won't go into gear?

Great video. Same fault this evening. Found the lock release button and went straight for the broken wire. Bingo. Collecting the daughter at 09.00 at airport. Would have been a disaster with no boot

My r56 mini S N14 had a misfire problem all cylinders and a CEL fault. I replaced coolant temp sensor and cold idle returned to normal. Months later the thermostat housing started to leak . I replaced thermostat housing and misfire returned. I transfered my temp sensor from the leaking housing to the new housing and mini idle returned to normal.

My wife's car started cutting out and throwing fault codes- I guessed from the fact they were all from different modules it must be a CAN problem but had no idea where to start looking. I stumbled across your video, whipped the dashboard out and am currently looking at four visibly broken solder joints on that connector. I'd have never found it without your video!

Just wanna say if you wip off the alternator you can get to the bolt with a 13mm ring spanner, I say whip off lol undo engine mount and jack up the engine a little to get the alternator bolt out, just an alternatorive way of doing it 😂

Good job just one thing you should torque those down with a load .

Awesome video and I'm about to do this myself. Does the car need to be lifted off the ground or can it be done with wheels on the ground? Could I use some wheel ramps or does the car need to be lifted up with a hoist? Wasn't shown in your video so would love to know before I start unbolting! Cheers

I have an Astra J and woke up one morning and car didn’t start. Assumed it was the battery. Called RAC who told me it was the battery and proceeded to try and charge me £180 for a new one. I knew it wasn’t the battery because I had one fitted a few years back and was covered under warranty. So took back to halford and they checked it out and said it was fine. Also had it checked at another garage and fine. Since this the indicators have stopped working both left and right and blink rapidly thereafter. The backs are working but no front. I have the service stabilitrack and other error light and more frustrating is the side repeaters won’t turn off. They are constantly staying on and having to disconnect the battery every night. I have checked the battery, alternator, fuses, bulbs, brake fluid, coolant and wipers all topped up. I’m really confused and is now really frustrating me. Any help would be much appreciated.

Just wondering.....so the corroded plug on the boot latch mechanism caused the original opening piece that you moved up manually not to work?

I have vauxhall astra 1.7 diesel 2011 mine keeps cutting off engine keeps shutting off but wen car is warmed up then its OK doesn't cut off as much ???

I want to know when you have had gearbox & clutch changed, after 4 days when you get car back from the garage why does the battery cut of, it was snowing and battery cut off then after 35 minutes I tried again and started car put key in started ignition it started , I called my friend he said the car hasn't been drove for 5 days that's why it cut off but I drove car for 3 hours before it cut off. I just parked it and came back after 10 minutes, it wouldn't start
