Ummm.........Now, let me see, which would I rather have? A soulless, characterless German car, or a hugely charismatic, stylish, iconic Ford Mustang? It's a no brainer. Every time you park this car and walk away, you WILL turn around and take in it's fabulous lines. People will look at it on the road. Nobody with any discerning degree of taste bothers to look at Audis or BMW's. The Yanks deserve a BIG around of applause, the Ford design team have done a superb job with the contemporary Mustang. This car has the 'X' factor, it's a stunning machine.

Just sayin the yanks dont deserve praise at the mustang of this era was actually designed by an Englishmen
@JHKCF10 ай бұрын
@@leemizrahi5977. An Englishman designed the engine and suspension and interior and the brakes and magnetic dampers? Oooook😂. Regardless of who did what, Ford of “America” had to contract and pay for and sign off on every part that went into its development. Name a manufacturer that uses parts exclusively designed and made by the manufacturer.

This is my 3rd Mustang. 67/84 and don’t know what it is but I just drove my 2019 from So Cal back to my hometown in the Bay Area just to retrace the route in SF in the movie. Got about 3 finger points and 5 thumbs up. Even the cable car conductors gave me the nod……The Bullitt can be easily summarized as a good ol fashioned modern day muscle car. Ford hit this one out of the park.

Great review. I have a 2020 gt with every conceivable extra making it more expensive than the Bullitt. 25 years of German turbo charged automatics that didn't get a second glance. Now I drive a show stopper!
@stuartginn81292 жыл бұрын
I recently brought the bullitt and it really is a breath of fresh air, no point comparing to the Germans as it’s a different class and the v8 noise and power is intoxicating, you cannot match this to anything else in this price bracket.

I’m happy you enjoyed driving this great car. It’s fun to drive and looks fantastic and costs much less the a Porsche GTS 4.0 Cayman and sounds way better than a six. Do you agree? The Cayman does handle better and is more nimble but the cost factor does matter to most buyers. I’ve owned this car now for about two years so I’m a bit biased. I’d love the new 4.0 Cayman but the price for a new one is about $95K after taxes for without options.

A tuned DSG Golf R or an AMG might be quicker in a straight line, but nothing beats the oldschool tactile analogue feeling of a manual v8 muscle car. Just wish they put the tremec into the standard GT's, as its a far stronger transmission than the mt82.

Nice review but I have to say the only time Frank Bullitt only ever drove his Mustang on the wrong side of the road was when he was chasing bad guys! 😂😉

This is a very enjoyable celebration of a great car: all the better for not getting embroiled in the detail of the plethora of drive and exhaust mode combinations - instead giving us your obvious emotions and honest reactions about the car. Let's face it, cars of this type and the scope to feel like movie stars in iconic V8s will be gone soon, in a less 'childish' but sadly sterile world of bland EVs.

@@binxbolling 😂😂 yes I get that. What I am saying is we don’t have any other American muscle cars in the UK that are right hand drive, plus there is about 25 of them for sale. So the only real comparison that can be made in the UK is cars we can actually get our hands on. 👍🏻

German cars are overpriced shit. I've owned 3 BMW's...tired of $800 oil changes. 2009 Ford Mustang GT best car i've ever owned, followed closely by 2010 F-150. Sorry...Just keeping it real.
