Do an X-Pipe and high flow secondary converters if you really want to wake it up. But it sounds good. That H-Pipe gives a nice deep sound.

Coyotes have performance only 2v 3v especially 4v 4.6' all sound better than their newer counterparts.... sound 5.0 trash 5.2xs 5.2 predator all sound the same only one unique out the group is the gt350 everything else sounds like ass especially that Vshit and ecotrash that sound is even more horrible.

@@Springfield_Duck_Sammich DOHC in the coyotes make it sound like a flatplane crank. 3v and 2v sound good cause it's a real crossplane crank style motor, hence why coyotes make way more power.

The 3 valve 4 6 Mustangs sound the best if done right. The muffler deletes sounded like garbage. All he needed was long tubes with the Borla or Vibrants and he would have been set.

Now, I had the opportunity to ride behind a full Catless Straight Piped 4.6 3V, WITH LONG TUBE HEADERS, on the freeway. Let me tell you that might have been the best sounding mustang I've ever heard in my life, next to a catless 2V Mustang. The burble at cruising, while not even on the gas, gave me goosebumps.

Oh yeah, cats had to go on my 06 GT ! Stock mid pipe and mufflers were waaay to quiet !! I ended up with off road H-pipe,mid mounted 12” resonators,& Flowmaster Outlaws at the back. Loud AF though I wish I could’ve left the resonators off but we live in an apartment so I had to tone it down just a bit. Would love to try the Outlaws mid mounted with no resonators at all, would be glorious I’m sure !!

I have something similar on my race/track car, true duals catless going to flowmaster super 10s, sounds good outside but the drone inside the car is killing me quite literally, im thinking about putting vibrant ultra quiet resonators where the cats used to go adding an H pipe and running it to magnaflow 11 inchers, complete flow through,i want the drone to be gone, but i also dont want the car not to have soul, i want to hear the motor while not on wide open throttle, but i fear its gonna be super quiet.

I had the 3v. Put kooks long tubes to corsa double helix x pipe to corsa extreme axlebacks. Crazy loud. No drone.

Should've left the borla n put high-flow cats. It would've screamed while having a clean tone n not dronin on the highway. Sometimes I feel like no one knows about cats

The straight pipe definitely sounds more "open". The Vibrants work well for smaller engines, but they sometimes kill the fun sounds of a V8 while adding a muddy quality to the tone. Straight pipe or Borla seems to be the way to go.
