thanks, helped alot..just needed the tail light part, im putting some sound deading in trunk this weekend. helped, i did the lid already...those two push pins on the plastic part behind tailights are a bear to get off even with the pry tools

I followed this video step by step. The only thing that I wished was included was disassembling the wiring on the old bumper. I struggled with this and unfortunately, after placing the bumper on my mustang, the lights weren't functioning. I don't know what's wrong and I am not good with wires :/

It should be possible, but there's a lip on the bumper that slides a little under the tail lights. Removing the lights makes the jobs much easier, and they're held by only three screws each, that are easily accessible.

The tool that I'm using is called Schwaben Five-Piece Trim Removal Tool. You can get it on amazon, ebay, ecstuning, etc. If you google trim removal tool you can find the same thing made by other companies.

Can you fit a 2013 mustang rear bumper onto a 2011 mustang rear?

You'll have to swap the taillights along with the bumper. The stock 2011 taillights have a curve on the bottom that will interfere with the 2013 rear bumper.

wish someone could show how to install 2013-14 xenon headlights in a 2010-12 mustang with halogen head lights, I bought a set of 2014 headlights with the 16 pin plug pigtails but all the wires are green I dont know what wire goes where, I know they sell those harnesses but they are expensive I got the plugs with the pigtail wires, I know I need a relay which I bought but wish I knew what wires goes where. just fustrated

yesterday a 18 yr old kid hit me in the ass im soooooo upset my car will never be the same , my car was pristine and my first new car at age 52, im just sick, his insurance is fucking around and acts so uninterested paint will never match and it will look like a circus car all different colors. my car is kona blue and it will never be the same. fuckin kid 18 yr old kid I got out of car said really dude????? I was calm but now upset cause of being jerked around by his insurance. his mom showed up and I know she was coaching him cop said it was his fault but never wrote it on police report . cop said that's how its done now I feel cop is not wanting his insurance to go up but mine will if im stuck with fixing it on my insurance plus $500 deductable, I guess I was just in his way.. beware if your the innocent party. seems the guilty party is the one whos treated fairly. im so pissed I can spit nails !!!!!

Having been hit multiple times by someone else I have the whole insurance processes down to a T. He is at fault so here is what you do - file a claim with his insurance company which it looks like you did. You will not have to pay a deductible. Of course his insurance is gonna drag this out - its not like they are eager to pay out. Its part of the process and you just gotta go with it. They should send an adjuster to look at the damage - if not, then you will need to send them estimates of the damage. They will go over the estimate and then should send you a check. My last accident took almost 2 months to get the check from the insurance co. Even if you go through your insurance company, since he is at fault, your insurance should not go up. You may even get your deductible refunded if he is found at fault. Finally - circus car? A good body shop will match the paint perfectly. Do not accept the work unless it is.

manlaw83 I feel you pain about a few months ago. This idiot had rear ended my 14 mustang and took a lot out of me not to yell and be extremely angry. When I asked the guy what happened he stated that he wasn't paying attention...***cough*** texting***cough***. Regardless I got my car fixed since the guy was at fault. Unfortunately my insurance gave me a Toyota Yaris as a rent-a-car during repairs....never driving that car again lol

I’m not in that situation, but today I felt so stupid. I’m 16 and I bought my first car ever a month ago, a 2011 v6 mustang premium, and it was pristine. No dents no scratches no dings no paint issues, and today I ruined that. I reversed into a brick mailbox and scratched by bumper. I am so fed up with myself. My car will never be the same.
