This was very helpful, The instructions are a pretty bad print that came with it. Does yours have the hitch that opens with your foot? If so does it still work? The manufacturuer says yet but it would be nice to verify before I chop a hole in my car!

Mine doesn't. From what I've read on social media I haven't read any issues with that feature. Definitely look for sensors/ wiring before ✂️ anything

What is the towing capacity of this hitch you installed?

Hitch itself is rated at 3500 lbs but torklift has a footnote... *Although your EcoHitch® tongue weight and tow weight rating might be exceedingly high - this is because we build our hitches to withstand all kinds of beatings - your vehicle’s towing capacity could be lower. Please consult your vehicle’s owners manual to determine your factory tow weight rating and never exceed it. No aftermarket products can increase your factory tow weight rating. If your vehicle's tow rating is less than the rated towing capacity on your EcoHitch® trailer hitch, your trailer hitch capacity is limited to your vehicle's factory rated towing capacity. Please check your owner’s manual to confirm your vehicle is rated to tow. As a general rule, the use of extensions, hitch adapters, bike racks, cargo trays and other towing accessories can reduce the tongue weight capacity / vertical load capacity of your vehicle’s receiver hitch. When extensions, hitch adapters, bike racks, cargo trays and other towing accessories are added to your receiver hitch and are under 12” in length, it reduces load capacity by 25 percent, and if it is over 12” it reduces load capacity by 50 percent.

I was looking for instructions on the hidden hitch, and the thumbnail is totally wrong. This is not a hidden hitch.

A concealed hitch means that the main body is hidden up underneath the vehicle, providing a more factory look and feel. It pretty much installs the same though. Thanks for the video. One thing I learned those fish wires should be put in a safe place. I ended up taking my hitch off of one Mustang and putting it on a new Mustang and I had to make those fish wires out of safety wire.
