Same. The latch on my capless gas tank was just opening from my finger and wasn't fully latching. I'm going to see if I replace and fix it if that will remove the code p0442

Charcoal canister leak or one of the many vapor lines. It's rarely the gas cap.

What should I do. I have capless 2018 ford fiesta. Tiny fuel leak code on for two years and they won’t inspect my car so I don’t want to take it to ford 😭😭

My car gets that code. I just bought the car. It seems like it does it after I get gas. I got a new gas cap right away because I needed a locking gas cap but it still get the code. It doesn't have the valve like the first car did either. What could be the problem?

If I clear the code it goes away until I get gas again.
