Not at all. It's used on the factory hood vent to prevent water from running down onto the engine. The Anderson composites version uses the rain tray for that same reason and is designed just like the OEM one.

Hey the holes where my fasteners are supposed to go are too big and the fasteners keep falling out, how can I fix this problem?

Are you speaking about the metal inserts that are pressed into the hood vent that accept the bolts? If so on our install they needed some elbow grease to be pressed in properly. Once pressed in they were in there for good.

All it comes with are some metal push pins that pop into the CF vent that allows the factory screws to secure the rain tray to the vent itself.

@@Lethalcamp Aww darn, so it doesn't come with every single part necessary to install it in case I damage something when disassembling my current hood vent?

@@bearonionlol It comes with everything needed to install. The vent itself, rain tray and some push pin fasteners. The rest of the parts are just OEM bolts that get re-used.
