Dyno plots claimed around 12-15hp/Tq, I believe that was on a full ZE. So, NA with a ZE and lightweight flywheel, it should be 175-185 at the wheels, and sub 6.0 second 0-60 time should be expected. Pretty good for NA with no VVT, or DI, on 20+ year old factory parts. Subscribed

PGTMR2 this is a DE. I am planning on supercharging it so I didn’t want to worry about having a high compression engine with boost. It does not have as much of a punch at 4k for the vris points like before but it does sound pretty good. Thanks man!

@@retrohorsepower2552 Well... for the VRIS points you can get window switches from (MSD?) I have a different plan though, to make my own controller with an Arduino. I've been slacking on the project, but I have the concept and programing worked out. I just have to install it and fine tune the numbers. Around $20 in parts to control both vs. $80 per window switch. So far as the ze stuff goes if you had the cams, heads and intake you'd make more power without the high comp pistons. Or intake and cams and port the de heads. Which are supposed to flow better when ported then ze's. For the intake I'd just go with a curved neck off a Millenia, 1hp is no biggie. I have to see if I have a video up on the Arduino posted. I post the arduino code in the description so someone could copy and paste to program their Arduino. Edit: I haven't made a vid yet on the vris controller. I think I will just to post. Someone could easily look at the program and figure it out, or repurpose it for something else.

PGTMR2 i have a klg4 intake which i am going to be porting and putting on. The millenia intake uses a square runner outlet where ours is oval and I didn’t want to have to port my cylinder heads yet

@@retrohorsepower2552 '95 Millenia has ze heads. I pulled a set myself from the junkyard. I've got all 4 intakes. I have a video on them and the diff kl TBs. TB video needs to be re done in the light though.

PGTMR2 oh cool i did not know that. I have only worked on 98 and up millenia’s i think i will have to find an older one to get a kl47 TB. I have the kl1c off of a 2002 and it lines up right but people have said the tps and iac might need to be switched out

I don’t make the harnesses or have schematic but if you reach out to wiring by scott on FB he can make you the proper harness.

I think this should be my next mod :) (right after I do the timing belt) I just had to buy a new VAF, my old one is acting up again. I have a slowmatic so I prob. won't get a code for that. What other codes do you get? Does the millennia VRIS activate at the same rpm as the 96 probe? I don't know much about the millenia but google shows 210HP. Anyone done a KJ-ZEM 2.3 swap on their probe?

Hi I need an option for a 1993 Ford Probe 2.0
@dinoking6662 жыл бұрын
The 2.0 already comes with that style of sensor. The MAF or mass air flow sensor. You will want to get a larger exhaust and a cold air intake for the easiest bumps in power on that car

would this work/help on a ze swapped obd2 probe with the stock klde computer?
@retrohorsepower25525 жыл бұрын
That is a good question. It would work with the ZE but you need to change the computer to the mazda millenia computer otherwise the car will not run

This is for the OBD2 ECU’s. there was one year of millenia with an OBD1 ECU but I don’t think anyone has tried it with the swap yet.
