31:22 That's where my 2000 Explorer was built. The transmission lasted 314,000 miles before it started leaking, but it still shifted fine if I added fluid. The engine is still going strong even though I overheated it really bad in 2015 when my heater hose broke and I lost all my coolant. One of the cylinders finally started leaking in 2018 because one of the heads was slightly warped from the overheating. I put on new heads and the engine still runs like new.

@@charliehicks5676 Yes it has. It lost all the electronics after an auto update and had to get updated at the dealer for everything to come back alive. From my experience working at a Japanese car manufacturer in America, things are done more differently at Ford. I also seen workers wearing headphones while they work, which is a big no no for us. Even tho things are done a lot differently between the two, the equipment we use is pretty similar to what you see in this video.

The head phones are hearing protection you use plugs but some people cannot handle them in their ears so noise cancelling head phones are used
@dude45gg
@dude45gg 4 жыл бұрын
@@rons4778 I understand that they might be used for hearing protection but at some points of the video you see them wearing their wireless earbuds with only one plugged in. They don’t serve much hearing protection especially if the volume of the music is turned all the way up. Not to mention that hanging headphone could get caught on equipment or could scratch a car if they are working close enough to the vehicles body.

@Nothing Nothing Yes, “live better, work union,” until the company can no longer afford the absurd demands of the union and moves to Mexico or China. The unions are what ruined Detroit - once the automotive capital of the world, now a slum - I grew up in Detroit and saw this happen first hand. But one does not necessarily have to be an eye witness to this problem. It should be evident from the fact that companies like Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, VW, and even the low cost producer, Hyundai Motors, can build excellent innovative products that people want to buy, in right to work states without a union, and still pay a real living market wage to employees while making profits for the corporation. Sadly, some people will never learn until they are hungry.
