wow, this is the first gameplay i have seen that makes the game look good. maybe everyone else is playing with weird tuning setups and odd super low wheel rotation or something. their inputs never match up to the game and their driving looks way off and twitchy. this looked good. thanks.

dude. im not joking, i have watched hundreds of videos and they have made me sure i would never buy this game. after watching yours i am now sure i will. i might as well wait for the bugs and performance to get fixed, and then i might as well wait for vr. but finally i am excited that this game might actually be good.

There's definitely some issues but performance improved with less stutters after the update, although my PC needs upgrading badly. Driving and content wise it's good

Hello! One question: how do you set the departure and arrival mode of the stage to manual? That you have to brake, and when you arrive at the finish line too, let's say

For the start I reverse back after the stage has begun to show around the car and drive to the start line, then restart. After the finish, you have full control of the car if you turn time control braking to 0 in assists!

The FPS and stutter have improved for me after the update, although there still is some occasional stutter, usually towards the end of the stages.

I use OBS. I play and record in 1440p. Uploading in 1440p forces KZbin to use the vp9 codec for the best quality

You can still play and record in 1080p and then export the final video as 1440p

2:12 why did you go off throttle and let the revs drop here though? after the scandy flick you got sideways enough you should have been able to power around the corner without going wide, but i am assuming the physics/ default car setup is a bit off/ understeery and you realized you had to let off otherwise you would go wide and hit the rocks? if so, thats a bit annoying. what about the handbrake, would a quick pull on the handbrake have helped keep it sideways enough to power around the corner?

There's a slight incline on that corner and could feel the car was going to go to the outside so I lost confidence, but probably could have stayed on the power

I'm actually just using high settings with crowd on low and dynamic objects on medium to improve the fps and reduce stutter. Playing at 1440p with AA on high and DLSS on 50. But the weather and time of day makes a big difference with how good each stage looks too.

I don't really know how these hybrid cars work but I don't think you are driving this car 'correctly'. Based on the tachometer I think you are meant to hold back going full throttle until you can hold max revs or something. For example at the start the green charge goes down slowly while you are flat out until the corner, then you lose all the remaining charge after the revs drop. At 03:11 you have a full charge but go full power too early and lose the whole charge without using it. So going half throttle on the exit until the car is straight, then you go full power to use the battery.

its flippin rally. just drive the damn car and ignore that silly stuff. whatever driving style works for you is what you should do. its not like that little hybrid boost is going to make much difference. and trying to worry about that the whole stage while sliding sdieways and trying to follow the co driver does not sound fun.

The way you hit the brakes when the electric boost is ready to deploy doesn't give you it's power advantage. Try to put all the brakes at once and then hit the gas until the electric energy ends. Cheers✌️

or use the brakes and throttle to drive the car instead of charging some silly boost meter. i know this is something in wrc in real life, but that doesnt stop it being a lame feature. especially in a video game making it feel like freaking need for speed.
