Thanks for the instructional video and that tip on how to check if it's on its way out. I hope the 3.2 is as easy as the 2.2

Love your work mate. I’ve been procrastinating on this for a while. Looking forward to doing this little job!

Thanks for the video mate. No need for the pulley tool. Just a piece of flat bar with 2 roofing screws 70mm apart and cut the ends to they’re flat.

Been watching your videos a lot, thank you for this! Just want to ask instead of replacing fan clutch have you heard of electronic fan clutch conversion? I have seen Thai Rangers have this and I just want to know about your opinion.

How much resistance is resistance ? Mines got some resistance forward & back, but it's not what I would call hard to spin in either direction

sounds like it's on the way out

@@abdautomotivefor the egr, can i just block the egr with blocking plate, and not doing the coolant baypass for egr cooler?

Am I right in thinking that when the engine is cold, that the fan should freely spin with little to no resistance?

Hey mate. Love the vids as you're really helping me out with quite a few diy jobs. My recent issue is my AC. I was driving along towing a moving trailer and heard a sound like a spring letting go and my ac instantly stopped working. Do you think that this could be the viscous fan?
@abdautomotive4 ай бұрын
i've heard that once the viscous fan stops working, it's stop cooling the condenser which in turn, due to the heat cracks the top a/c line and causes all the a/c gas to escape, this could be your problem as it's preety common on Rangers
