I bought this today it's a 3.0 TDCi and drove it home which was a 6 hour drive. Firstly I come from driving a 2016 BMW 116i f21 which is a three door sport so understand that getting a bakkie was a real mind flip for me. I liked it when I saw it with all its scratches n dents, I got to know it driving home and discovered it's a he rather than a she😂😂, very aggressive, very powerful, quick on take off, he's not as thirsty as I thought he would be. The steering is very vague and the cabin noise is extremely loud. With all that 6 hours later when I parked him in my carport I had fallen in love with his ruggedness and discovered I already named him too. His name is Tom Ford and by Gucci I'm in absolute love with him❤❤❤

Very unlikely as we have annual vehicle testing here in the UK so anything of serious wear would have been corrected.

Bare in mind that the review is done on a 2006 with 70000 miles which is not a lot of miles

Just because that one has steering lag doesn't mean all others with have that problem. Maybe that one has been driven on bad roads for all of its 70000 miles. Also brakes may be worn. I hate people that slag a vehicle off judging on one that's done that's lots miles.
