Ford Raptor R Assault Class in Utah!!

Showing the experience from the Ford Performance racing school program that ford pays for when you buy a brand new ford raptor. Very amazing experience and I recommend going if your invited.

Orange beauty ring makes the color-matched bumpers/fenders ok in my book. I generally prefer the magnetic accents to give contrast to the truck.

You said the raptor looks like crap with the black flares/bumpers etc. I think a color matched raptor ruins the entire look of a Raptor. I love my 17, but would love to have the R.

@@johnt6673 we all have our opinions! I live in South Dakota and when dealers get rusty trucks in they buy the cheapest flares on eBay and they come flat black… same as a stock raptor. So to me screams cheap

Did the raptor class in October. Had Donnie drive for the demo run with the 3.5TT. Was curious after I timed your demo run in the Raptor R which came in at 1:18. Though your driver had a few mistakes during on the track. Donnie came in at 1:14 with the 3.5TT. It’s almost like a 250 vs 450 Mx on the track. Most riders (or drivers in this case) cannot utilize all the power of the bigger motor.

@@adrinaline186 it’s hilarious your trying to compare them lol. You should of learned in the class during the dinner the R is superior as it won by a long ways and that part you timed they aren’t trying to go as quick as they can they are trying to give us a fun time messing around.

@@zweifelgarage1817 Look I’m not trying to compare apples to oranges. The point I was making is that course is super tight and in that case you cannot use all the power in the 5.2, it was just sliding all around. I was expecting a bigger gap between the two even with your instructor just “messing around”, wouldn’t my instructor be doing the same? If the course was more open where HP had a bigger role, then yes with out a doubt the “R” would have the advantage.

@ the Baja 1000 times show everything u need to know about the off road times comparing the two off road and on pavement the R is a good 2 seconds faster. The eco boost is a joke to me. That’s why I never bought one. Had 3 gen 1s all supercharged and now a NA gen 1 along with my R. I will never own a v6 pick up in any brand.

Just put the optional bead locks from Ford that’s what I did. They come in a polished finish. I like the contrast too but I think the fender flares and bumpers look better in the oem finish but it’s your rig. Enjoy

Looks great! I have the 2024 Bronco with Code Orange Appearance. I wasn't sure about the rings either but once I put them on I bought a bunch of Code Orange stickers to highlight other parts of the truck.

That Raptor you were looking at while at the driving school and said it "looked pretty beat and said they must have had fun on it", actually competed and finished the Baja 1000. There have been 2 Raptors to race down there. They ran in the 8100 class which is a stock class with safety and minor mods. I will not be entering my 2024 in at, I don't want to trash it that bad.

You can drive that Raptor R in Baja, I can do that in my Mid travel tundra on 37’s But going full LONG TRAVEL soon, if you do leaf spring under the Axel on the raptor you can it’s fun

@@angelperez9470 literally just dress for occasion they supply food and drinks. Lots of drinks may I add haha. Maybe a go pro? They only allow u to mount inside the truck tho
