I own a 2018 freestyle titanium plus model and i have driven 1.20 lakh kms and i really enjoy the driving. I see Asir anna's recation (happiness) when speaking about the car. one of the biggest myth about ford is service cost. For me i got 5-6k per service at 10k interval. car got fuel efficiency of 20-24 kmpl. when you speak about power and handling freestyle is king in under 10 lakh budget. low end rpm power is good. I really miss ford FORD needs to back

Some 3 years back, when I was still in college, I really wanted a Freestyle... So I decided to buy one when I get a job... But unfortunately Ford has left India which no one saw coming. I believe my generation of car buyers prefer good driving cars and it was bad luck for ford to have exited right when they got their target audience. We could see a proof of current generation buyers preferring performance cars in the brands launching performance focused cars and their sales numbers!

I own the same Ruby red Ford Figo titanium TDCI BS-IV, 2019 model, It’s an absolute delight to drive…I’ve clocked almost 40k kms…2 negatives are the heavy clutch and turbo kicks in at 1750 rpm and fit finish is not up to the mark….tyres are not much available for 195\55\R15….

Totally agree to this video. My first new car was a Ford Figo Titanium (1.2), 2019 model. Loved how the petrol had torque more than I expected and clutch was not too bad. Best part was the steering and the handling. I couldn’t Vlog it but once got lost trying to find a resort in Munnar in the Figo…some totally off-road areas near water falls and single lane roads where even a 4 by 4 SUV wouldn’t turn…(maybe today the Jimny might). Took us about an 45 mins to cover 5-6 kms through trails and wet rocks…couldn’t turn back and had to keep going, even encountered a wooden bridge near a waterfall. The GPS map on the car still working we went forward…on getting phone signal almost 1km from the resort at a point we called them up and was advised not to come that way as recently a Polo drove that way up, hit some rock which led to oil spill and had to be tugged away. I didn’t want to drive back 4 km through this terrain…besides there was hardly any space to turn. We kept pushing up the hill praying. Never did we hit a rock…only when we had to take a U turn into the driveway of the resort on the hill top..it lost traction a couple of times…we made it up by God’s grace. Next day morning I woke up to check if there was an oil or coolant leak under the car. There was nothing. Not even a tyre puncture. I truly did off roading in a Figo not even a Freestyle. It was a well engineered gem of a car.

Bro, sorry to say this, even though Figo is a great car, it is a bad idea to buy used one now as it will also face the same fate as Cruze. Very difficult to procure parts for cruze. And it is only because of Ford they left India, they are not very sincere and they never care to sell ford cars in India.

I bought a used 2016 Ford Figo 1.5 l Ti VCT AT last week and the drive experience is amazing. I get both the manual and automatic experience in this, it has dual clutch transmission which is the best automatic transmission, as it is suitable for a bumper to bumper traffic drive with zero stress and the sports mode has both auto shift as well as manual gear shifter (upshift n downshift buttons) It gives me different drive experience in different situations and every drive experience is enjoyable, it is truly a driver's car. Safety and build quality is top notch, I can feel the quality everytime I open and close the door. I did two months of research of selecting a car and chose the best and now I'm proud of owning this beast.

#motowagon .. Dear Motowagon.. i am a first time car buyer and due to budget constraints i am looking for a used vechicle. Recently i found a freestyle 1.5 tdci 2020 make in the used car market. But i am confused with the government norms which is proposing to ban all diesel vechicles by 2027 and one more worry about the maintenance of diesel engines. Will it the bs6 diesel damage the bs4 diesel engine becuase of lower sulfer content and cost us more interms of maintenance in the near future ? Please clarify my doubts to take a fair decision on my buying.

My first car. Ford Figo s 1.5 TDCI. Best handling on par with VW. Powerful engine with great weight to power ratio. Extracted 20kmpl plus mileage even with 100km plus speed. An all rounder car which we cannot see anymore in the market. Too bad had to sell for a bigger car. Dusted many cars like swift, i20 in highways

We bought our freestyle titanium petrol 2020 after lots of research, buying first car is a big dicision making point and our main concern were on the size of the car and budget. Our parking space is very small and we pushed our budget from Tiago top end to freestyle titanium. For 7.86 lakhs onroad its the best hatch back in terms of budget, space, mileage, maintanence, power, ground clearance, amazing dynamics and fun to drive steering feedback, seat comfort for driver and co-passenger, light clutch decent speaker. There are some cons too about freestyle like headlights are not great but you can change the bulbs, rear arm rest, 3cylinder lag in 1st gear ( in unexpected situations), rear defogger, reverse parking sensors (camera is available but sensor is not provided) , very basic info screen in the Speedometer but it has needed informations, infotainment system is slow and sometimes don't respond. Besides all these cons i really Love to drive this car, just play some favourite music and drive.

Figo la Automatics a marandutenga… 1.2 DCT irunduchu… apram esp the 2019 1.5 petrol with 120 Hp straight from the ecosport.. sadly discontinued the very next year because of bs6 …. Proud owner of 1 … gifted to my father … discontinue Aaha pogudu nu therinje vaangunom… but no regrets … strong performance, controlled chassis, with tcs and hill hold…just needed better tyres from factory Avlo Dan…

I would say it is a "Boring era of cars". So many wonderful cars (brands left india) discontinued once BS6 emission norms kicks. I am a big car enthusiasts, I never miss any new car launches and I want to upto date about new/future cars. But I lost my interest. Everyone is feature focused that's also the main reason why brands never mind about driver centric, good handling cars.

I also have the same car na , but there are some famous issue with this engine na , like cylinder block was freely changed for some customers upfront , injectors problem . Driver enthusiastic ok , but Ford engine are not as reliable as Fiat powered engine1.3 litre or Toyota 1.4 litre diesel . Fun to drive or No issues paatha, now I feel no issues is better .

True. Have used figo 2011 diesel and now with 2019 freestyle titanium diesel. Both are addictive for driving. Compare to freestyle diesel, Figo 2011 diesel is boss. Can never forget the feel of hydraulic steering, chill ac, audio and driving comfort. Now no option for me to upgrade in hatchback.

I have a Figo Aspire Sport Edition TDCi and it's a rare breed than these Figo & Freestyle. The confidence, stability, cornering capabilities, aerodynamics of a sedan, along with the stiff suspension & the thick anti roll bars. No cars under 25 lacs budget would come not even close to performance of 1.5 TDCi. Real 💎 of a car with perfect engine setup along with a great chassis. And for those who are planning to upgrade your front brake pad i highly recommend Ferodo - FDB4685QS. It's way better than the stock ones and gives more bite without any judders at high speeds
