They built the Ford Transit pumps to breakdown quicker than a Land Rover with the same pump. The tolerance are set that way, if you go to any Ford Workshop you will see tons of Transit's parked up with fuel pump problems!!

hi I removed My pump . when you are mentioning the your pump has good compression. when I try to trum mine it does not turn . please can you advise ? thanks

How did you get on did it cure your problem? Mine is starting up but white smoke and no power timing is fine starts first time on button.

Hi Dave sadly not, possibly increase idle and do a fuel pump learn or idle learn with certain diag machines

@@luke123918 thanks for the quick response buddy. I went over the all the fuel lines and found one was dragging in air. My mate tried to explain what it’s was doing, so I met up early morning and started it my self and ran it from cold and after all it was just a small hole letting in air. Thanks again

transit pickup when i put my foot down on excelarator the truck starts to kangaroo . if i gradually put foot down it doesnt do it as much but it wont go much over 65 mph .any ideas .thanks

MK6 Transit? Airfilter blocked, fuel filter blocked, iffy accelerator pedal if it's electronic, try cleaning the throttle body, Any fault codes??

@@luke123918 Sounds similar to what I'm experiencing. P0149 and P1564, suggested faulty injector timing solenoid... Thoughts?
