The ford is also 3/4 ton and chevy 1/2 ton. My 3/4 ton stepside would eat that ford up. And this isnt even hard stuff. I can do it two wheel.

suggestion for the k10, he ought to put Eaton lockers in his rear diff, would make his a lot more offroadable. is his carb? If so maybe an avenger carb like I ha e for my 460 and get a taller intake. much better performance imo, really cool trucks. got a 78 f250 and 79 Bronco myself

Loved my Buick Park Avenue until I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't crank to start, I should've stayed with Fords. First vehicle I owned was a 1969 Ford Clubwagon van that sat in weeds for 11 years. Fired right up after some love. Paid $1,000 for a 1980 Ford Fairmont, that was my baby, bored .030 over and head shaved .015, I wrecked it though; ignored my fluids and lost my brakes.

I'm telling you put a locker in the front even a cheap spool you will be amazed at the difference it looks like the factory rear traction lock is still working in the rear axle.You can rebuild the rear traction lock it uses clutch plates behind the outer spider gears set it up tighter than they call for. they are prone to going out quick with bigger tires.
