As someone who grew up down the road from a half mile circle track and now lives in the heart of Automation Alley, this isn't ASMR, it's just a way of life to me. I grew up smelling methanol and hearing small blocks running 7/8000 rpm for 15 minutes straight. I can't go a day without at least one nasty pull.
