His pardon of Nixon was obviously controversial and even though it likely cost him in the 1976 election, I believe he did the right thing for himself and this country.

I guess Biden will be viewed historically as similar to Ford. Both succeeded hugely controversial presidents. Both were moderate (yes, it's incredibly complex), both were perceived as boring at one time or another.

Notice what Ford said at the beginning: "You have to a reputation for total integrity," "You have to have a reputation for hard work and discipline, and last and its very important. You have to have a capability for getting good people to work with you" I'm thinking Obama? No, no, and NO!
