Great job! Had the exact same problem after only 3 flights. I cracked open the RC case and put a very small piece of gummy adhesive on the pot. Screwed it closed, and all is working fine now! Thanks for the video. I started thinking in that direction as well, and then found your video. DJI should watch it too! Shame on them for not dealing with the issue better! This is an awesome video! I recent decided to buy the Phantom 2 with the H3-3D gimbal and I came across this video by chance while searching for user reviews and unboxing videos to understand what I was buying and what I would get. Thanks for the video and info. May I know what are your settings/numbers for the gimbal's vertical, horizontal and gain under the "Advanced" tab in the PT2 assistant software?

As of now I still have not done those setting I want to mess with them though to trim out the lights etc though.

Mine seems loose too, I think I will try your fix, although mine is working now. The thing I have, is my camera is either facing forward or facing down. There is no in between. So If i stop the lever halfway it does nothing, until it hits a certain point and then it goes straight down. Aren't you supposed to be able to adjust the camera angle to wherever you want between 0 degrees and 90 degrees. (Example, if I wanted the camera to be at a 45, I could just move the lever halfway, right?)

If you look at the mounting legs on that X1 pot you can see the legs are bent, why don't you just straighten the legs to raise the pot back to it's correct height from the board rather than raise the board with spacers?

Same issue here. Brand new Phantom 2. It looks like they have a poor QA check. I cannot belive this could happend with a 1000$ "toy".

I know I contemplate sending it back, you try to push in usb cord and it wont go in cause the usb port is loose inside controller I really cannot believe how poor the controller is.
