Fordyce Creek Trail on 35s

Never had been there. I threw this together to remember the trip. There's not much of footage of me in the TJ, so it's mostly video of my friend in the JK ‪@rioverdewestwardoverland9726‬.
I winched off Winch Hill #1 because I didn't know the line, and the JK driver wasn't interested in trying to attempt it even if I made it, so not knowing the trail we decided to turn back. We had missed the go-around coming in, so decided to take give it a shot to see if we could finish out the trail, which we did.
We drove to the Alvord Desert, after (no trailer-queens, here), then him back home to Wyoming, and me back to western Oregon. Jeeps are tough rigs.

I took my 2021 Colorado zr2 there on 34’s. I turned around at the top of sunrise hill. Still snow on the ground. It’s not for the faint of heart.

That's beating hard on your machines. For your wheelbase, 35's and fully skid plated knowing you're going to do some serious rock bashing... What spare parts do your carry? hubs, U joints and specific tools?

I've been wheeling Fordyce for 40 years and I commend you for doing it but why would you do that to your jeep it's not built for Fordyce

Great job guys. You kept cool heads and worked together. Thats half the battle. You guys did just fine. I have ran it many times in my prior CJ7 on 35’s.

Not built for Fordyce? You don't need a buggy to run Fordyce and as you can see these rigs are perfectly capable. I don't see any reason not to run Fordyce in a simple jeep as long as you have the experience and are prepared.
