Ran the Amsterdam marathon last week. Set a new PB in my 50s despite struggling for last 7km. Enjoyed the course. Another sub 3-30 marathon but no BQ so disappointed after a good training block. Try again next year.

Ran it too, probs a 9 from me. Smashing route - sneaky warm day which caught me off guard. Smacked the wall at 28km having went too fast ran 3:53 but targeted 3:40. Lesson learnt. I’ll definitely go back

I stayed in that hotel for the race too. Nice spot considering the price vs what hotels in the city were charging and easy enough to get out to the stadium.
