I remember hearing this on the radio late night in ‘93 and went CRAZY!! With no Snooo Dogg to be found on this track, I knew then Kurupt was gonna be a problem for MCs. Also, Rage went crazy!! EDIT: Oh yeah and Kurupt snapped on the Lench Mob (“Death Row ain’t lynchin & Tha Pound ain’t mobbin”-and that beef was between Cube and Dre)
@TheStreetFoolosopherMr187 Жыл бұрын
YUP! It was smart lyrics, plus Ice Cube had a single named Steady Mobbing, Da Lench Mob wasn't too happy and they actually confronted them about it

I don't get how they were Beefin' when Ice Cube was in Dres' "Let Me Ride" Video. This was 92'
@TheStreetFoolosopherMr187 Жыл бұрын
@@thecreeperbeatngu8133 well back then album would dropped months earlier (before the internet obviously) for their music videos, Let Me Ride music video wasn't done until August 1993 somewhere between Dec 1992 (the Chronic release date) & May 1993 (the Chronic tour) Cube and Dre squashed their differences

@@TheStreetFoolosopherMr187 well that's interesting, lol and Dre must of really felt some type of way about signing that f_cked up contract that Cube didn't.

Definitely 💯 an African beat. That DNA 🧬 is deep from Africa 🌍. The Mother Land ❤❤
@andrewvazquez46832 ай бұрын
@ray1956 Afrocentrism's got nothing to do with West coast G-Funk. In fact, no where on the planet compared to the gangster and style of L.A. in the 90's, 100% homegrown. Product of slavery, segregation, evolution and blends of music, gang and other cultures. Africa has it's own problems and cultures depending on what European country invaded or exploits it.
@ray19562 ай бұрын
@ dude African rhythm 🥁 came with the slaves. You think their musical rhythm was left behind 🤔🥁🥁
@andrewvazquez4683Ай бұрын
@@ray1956You act like no one else has rhythm and music as part of their culture. Native Americans, like true Africans, have had music and dancing as part of their culture and spirituality for thousands of years. They still carry on those practices and traditions to this day, on and off their reservations.
@ray1956Ай бұрын
@ I never stated no other culture didn’t have rhythm 🥁. That’s your insecurity. Only talking about African culture. WORD 👀🧑🏿💻
