Forearm Straps - How to Use

I questioned these straps until someone brought them to help me move. The ease with which we lifted a refrigerator and washing machine convinced me! Its all in the leverage, and its amazing how easy they make lifting really heavy stuff!

I'm just curious why is the forearm strap just under the bicep? Why are they not called bicep straps?

These do NOT go on your biceps. They go at the top of your forearms!

All that time when one man could've lift scooped and gone with the two wheel dolly or if allowed dropped the item on it's side onto a 4 wheel dolly and gone...why are they using those straps for office move items crazy and time consuming I would've scooped with my two wheel dolly about 5 filing cabinets while they dilly dallied with that one...
