Liam and John - Viv was my second of these "shows" (I do not think any other word sums up the fantastically entertaining, informative, and captivating viewing). Keep doing what you are doing - nobody is close to you both for making us feel like we are chatting to these legends in the Clubhouse after a friendly but competitive game of golf. What about Sir Kenny Dalglish?

I was in the Stretford Paddock when he took that knock on the ankle. He's right. He was never really fit again. It was a shame because everyone really respected him and all wanted him to do well. It's easy to see why he was seen as such a positive influence and someone good to have around when you're in the shit. The world loves Viv Anderson and you can tell.

Clough was the best type of manager - 'hands off' administrator, people manager/motivator, team coordinator, resource manager, business manager. That's all. And that's all he needed to be. Love the story when he paid for the player's 'recreation' with the ladies of the night! In modern woke times this would be unthinkable.

Great comment. I'm a Spurs fan but in the early 90,s Sheffield Wednesday were my favourite Northern team. I was gutted when Spurs lost to Arsenal in the 1993 Fa cup semi at Wembley. Wednesday beat Sheffield United in the other semi also at Wembley that weekend. Anyway Spurs have gone on to lose every FA Cup semi since... That game started this nightmare semi final heartbrake for Spurs that continues to this day. Sorry about that. This isn't about Me and Spurs it's about a great Podcast and a legendary Guest. Keep up the great content guys.

@@perrynn7173 Sheff United have had semi finals heartbreak since 1936 and are on a current run of failing to win their last 7 FA cup semi-finals, lost both their 2 League semi finals and lost everyone of the 4 play-off finals (failing to even score a single goal). No wonder some of our fans boycott Wembley.

@@sheffsteel7 Wow. I wasn't aware that Sheffield United had an even more miserable Wembley record than Spurs. I fully sympathise mate. The only other big English club with as bad a Wembley record I can think of is Newcastle. Though they do have a great chance to put that right against Man United on Sunday. Stranger things have happened.
