In this video you will see the first test of the Spinfire, a short pips rubber from der-materialspezialist. I tried it mainly on the forehand, with a Mattias Falck style of play made of topspin openings and flat shots to finish the rally.
It is a fast, easy to handle rubber. When used aggressively it produces a ball that bounces little, difficult for the opponent to counterattack.
The surface has a lot of grip. It allows you to easily impart backspin on serves.
setup:
- der-materialspezialist Scooper Def
- der-materialspezialist Spinfire (2.1mm)
- Barna Original Super Glanti Black (0.7mm)

Bellissimo video Andrea!

Ottima gomma!

Hi Andrea i need your advice .im use fh spinfire. Bh think anti spin rubber . durability important. Super glanti, super glanti black, vortex2 , störkraft. Which choice.
@timlpld9784
@timlpld9784 7 ай бұрын
The new gen antis are all pretty durable, not comparable to a LP tho Super glanti black is really disruptive but pretty fast Do you intend on starting with anti, because that style also works well with LP, those are imo easier to control and not as reliant on enemy as this Andrea plays super high level where every ball is loaded with spin, even "flat" hits Lower league players can't produce that level to make Antispin a deadly weapon if u can't twiddle as well

Hi! I have no idea why nothing was working for you. ☹️ Short pips differ greatly in hardness and ease of use. Maybe the blade/rubber combination or type of pips was not the best fit for your game.

Interesting is that your smashes are not brutal hard (no offense😀) but very safe and well placed. Something to keep in mind in practice. I play Greenstorm at VH and medium pips BH
@AndreaAschi
@AndreaAschi Жыл бұрын
You are absolutely right! Because I am not used to playing with short pips I execute shots with a little insecurity. One should hit more flat and hard, instead I make a kind of fake topspin. I liked the Spinfire better than the Greenstorm. A little softer and more controllable. ;)

How does the Spinfire's spin compares to a normal inverted? Could you please compare it to the Tenergy 05 for example in terms of speed, spin and control? Great video, by the way.
@AndreaAschi
@AndreaAschi Жыл бұрын
The Spinfire in some ways resembles an inverted rubber because it has a surface with a lot of grip. This allows you to do serves and topspin (vs. backspin) with excellent spin. On the remaining shots, however, it acts as a short pimple. So it is at its best on flat, fast shots. It is difficult to make topspin in succession. Therefore, it is not comparable to a Tenergy because they require two different techniques.

@@phenthohn7303 I started playing spinfire 1.8 on backhand on an innerforce blade after many years playing inverted. For me it wasn`t difficult to change the rubber type. Compare to inverted spinfire is better in flat shots near the table, receiving serves, short play. Very difficult to play far from the table (almost no topspin), difficult to control pushes against sidespin. Serves have 60% spin of inverted. So I think its a rubber for 1 ball attack

Great review. Which is faster and spinner, this one or Dr. Neubauer Tornado Supreme?? Thank you.
@AndreaAschi
@AndreaAschi Жыл бұрын
I find it difficult to make a comparison because I tested the Spinfire on a defense blade and the Tornado Supreme Soft on an OFF+ blade. Both are able to produce very good spin because they have grippy pips. Tornado Soft having a softer sponge is probably slower but controls better in passive shots like block. Spinfire is harder so you have a more direct feel, which helps when you aggressively hit the ball.

I play in relative low level (provincial spanish league) and have a serve with a lot of spin give me a lot of direct points.
