A lot of us Jamaican women use the lipstick blush hack. We also like to use to use shimmer eyeshadow as highlighter and vice versa. Aloe Vera and Hibiscus are staples for a lot of us with sensitive skin. We love finding multiple uses for things; it saves money and gets plenty of use out of perishable items. I learned a lot from this video, love the concept. Thank you for sharing a part of your culture.

I’ve been making my own wax with the same recipe as in the video for years now. But I cook at a point where it’s still liquid and I cut out a handkerchief into many pieces to take out the wax after applying it on my skin. I find the wax to be more efficient when still runny than when it’s a little hard. Also making wax this way turned out to work so much better than the commercialised ones!!

She was queen of Egypt so yes she was Egyptian. Yes she was Greek but that doesn't mean she's not Egyptian..plus people back then were all mixed. Just look at the tomb paintings aroumd the Roman ruling era. (Cleopatra's time) all the depections are 100% mixed races. You can see middle eastern /African genetics very clearly in the ruling class.

@@blackdahlia4232 The Ptolemies married amongst themselves and other Macedonian royal houses like the Seleucids, therefore no Egyptian ancestry. And those paintings you refer to are wax funeral portraits found only in Egypt. The fayum portraits don’t represent the entire population of Rome, just romanized Egyptians.
