Lou Gramm - easily one of the top 5 rock male vocalists of all time. What a range! Highly respected in the industry.

One of the most underrated songs from Foreigner, last time I listened this song was 30 something years ago and today 2021 I remembered it, boggles my mind.

Hey, my dear blue-eyed rock hero! Happy birthday after everything that you had to go through. I wish you strong health and may you be blessed as you want and wish. Lou... Thanks a lot for your incredible voice, it combines the soft tenderness and the real power. I always cry, when I hear "Now it's over". HEART TURNS TO STONE... The song is epic. You see, the real human begins from the inner soul. God gave you the angelic face, the unique voice, but they are features of your talent... you spread so much light, when you perform something, my dear blue-eyed and curly haired elf from my childhood. I know your the practice of virtue - I feel much about Louis, because Lou Gramm belongs to a crowd, but Louis belongs to only one woman. It means that you are so devoted and tender, dear! I even read about the restored children's hospital when you have decided to perform for free. I like people involved in charity actions, because they help to stay real human beings, not be egoistic, rude, greedy... Fly on your wings of love and take care!

It's great, but it was in dire need of remastering.

Yes, the original version from the CD that I checked out from my local public library back in 1987 shortly after this album was released. Then, Atlantic Records decides to release it as a single and remixes the crap out of it shortly afterwards. Now, today, we have to put up with the official over eq'd remastered versions.

@@robbiestewart89 Exactly! I believe the official music video is the re-mix too?
@robbiestewart893 жыл бұрын
@@67tomcat That's correct. That video was released to MTV in promotion of the album back in 1987 also. Most videos contain remixed or the short 45 versions. Another good example is Daryl Hall & John Oates' 1980's videos also.

I LOVE this song, and I've gotten used to the mix on the No End In Sight compilation. THIS sounds great as well! It has a bit of rough elements, but is still compelling and bombastic! Also, it's a damn shame that they've replaced this track on all the digital services with the remastered single version. You can tell by the track time because it's 20 seconds shorter.
