Amazing video. it captured practically everything, you've been to most areas why Tagaytay and its environs are among the must-see, must visit spots in the PH. Happy to report that they are slowly getting back on their feet as tourists start trickling in, and the government resettling those severely affected.

Looks like you left just as the volcano was about to erupt, It is absolutely tragic what happened in Tagaytay, I remember it all to be as vibrant and lively as you shown here during my last visit.

Everyone's at the mall lol. It's because of the humid weather that malls thrive here. Did you enjoy the puto bumbong (purple sticky rice thingy)? One of may favorites during Xmas season. Wish they didn't put cheese though.

Hi Chuck..,new subscriber here. I was just wondering, If I may ask a question..., I left the Philippines and moved to U.S. on my teenage years. Batangas is one of my favorite province as some relatives of mine also lived there , to be specific, in Lemery. I see that they are also modernize now. How I remembered Lemery is the raw beauty of it's town, specially to us people who lived in Manila. Majority of the houses are still nipa huts (then) and my family also lived in a nipa hut, which is soooo refreshingly cool and very old Filipino ways of living..,most specially near the beach area. Is the nipa huts still exists there?.., I wondered.

@@OKChuck ...you're quite welcome. Congratulations!.., Lemery women are good wives. They will be faithful to you, but don't cross them.., they are also fearless!..lol.., It's too bad they didn't keep the old traditions..I guess they wanted to be modernized as well..,which I can't blame them.., I'm just being selfish :) . I plan to come back home next year and one in my agenda is to visit Batangas also...reminiscing my past...

its more places to visit like CEBU, PALAWAN, BAGUIO, SIARGAO, BICOL(Legazpi City), BOHOL, DAVAO, etc....

There's really no sidewalk and vehicles have the right of way. Hope you got a Balisong or folding fan knife. Hope you liked their Bulalo too and thank God you escaped the wrath of their small volcano.
