I must say , you really did your research with everything. I think its a really positive thing that u can communicate with the locals, the way you made the taxi driver go from 1500 to 500 was really accurate , cause they try to take advantages of people with less knowledge of the place. And the way you turned down the guy asking you for money and didnt sit with him was probably a good decision as it most probably would have been a scam. Some people are super nice , some are average and some are total idiots. I hope you dont judge a place by the behavior of some minors. I hope you enjoy your stay and find more beef nehari .

Especially the rawalpindi/islamabad taxi drivers have been notorious for this. I myself have to go through with this numerous times and I am a Pakistani myself and I must say Karil did a better job than many of us locals while dealing with the taxi :D
