So Joe at the age of 59, you are living proof why they say, "The only easy day was yesterday." I realized while you climbed the stairs and then went off road so to speak, that this was a Journey and not a Trip, as much for the Body as for the Spirit. Once on top at the Temple to realized that this Temple was built their without the use of Helicopters is truly remarkable and a testament of the abdominal spirit that lives within the Thai People. "Wow what a view, love Amazing Thailand." Love seeing the Temple with all the Bougainvillea around truly remarkable. A truly beautiful day too... Awesome view from the temple Joe. My wife and I spend about a month every year in Thailand since 2003 from here in the US. Most of the time up in Isaan where she grew up. . This will be the first year we have to stay here in the US so I will have to live vicariously through You Tube videos. It's good exercise and you did it. When I visited Bangkok 2 trips back, I got sick with a 101 F fever a day or two after arrival. I guess the 22 hour flight, meeting up with friends, and drinking overtaxed my body. Anyhow, we decided to cancel the second leg of our trip to Bali and instead went to Hua Hin to recover. When the fever came down a bit, my wife and I hiked the Pala-U Waterfall up to level 5. I will never forget the beauty, experience, and time spent doing it as it was rainy season. It was definitely fun and felt so much better afterwards due to the exercise and probably sweated out whatever was ailing me. Cheers and thank you for sharing a glimpse of your life. I miss Thailand and hope to be able to return soon. Stay healthy and be safe!

Hi Joe and Gift. I know Joe from watching yours and Gifts videos I knew Gift was smart. I did not realize how smart until I saw u climbing this mountain trail. 😁 Incredible views Joe of course that's why we invented drones! Also just a tip. When I lived in Patong back in 2003 I always carried some dog biscuits in my back pack. A pack of Soi dogs can be dangerous sometimes. Dog biscuits can save u from a nasty bite. Thanks for the video. We are still in lockdown here in Las Vegas. They have opened up the restaurants and some malls. I am still stuck at home because of my heart and kidney disease. We are still seeing a lot of new cases of virus. Anyway good to see u using the new bikes wish I was there with u both! Take care of yourselfs and all the doggies

Good on ya Joe for climbing the mountain. I love workouts like that! What a great place to climb at dawn then to meditate in that area where you showed the compass points. Those stairs on the way down would be a great place to run up and down a few times a week :) Good to see you hit the bench afterwards. We are restricted in Ohuket still sp no formal gym work for almost 2 months but home workouts with a 6 litre water bottle as my weights and lots of calisthenics circuit stuff for me :)

You're breathing pretty hard Joe, lol. I've been to Thailand twice and would have been there this month. But my flight was canceled. There's a Temple in Chiang Mai at the top of the mountain. You drive to the base of the Temple and then climb over 300 steps more to the top. So I know hard breathing, but it's good for you. Take care my friend and I hope to be back in Thailand next year.

I’ve done that a few times over the past 14 years , first time straight up no stopping , now it’s three stops for me , nothing to prove , don’t wanna heart attack there ,, btw it’s Doi Suthep ,, what Joe is climbing there is about three times as hard as DoinSuthep ,, if you want a challenge try the monkey mountain Tiger Cave temple , don’t forget Joes not going solo he has a load on his back , him and Chuck are very fit for their ages and testimony to the kinda lifestyle ex US army , my pathetic effort is down to driving lorries long distances for over 45 years
