@pollovman1179 every sugar is same, just digested at different rates. Please treat sugar as only a sweet taste adding ingredient. Nothing less nothing more. Only consume sugar and carbs based on your lifestyle. Only consume (not pale yellow) pure white refined sugar which has been clearly washed of its acid(check its chemistry procurement process). same for refined oil and refined iodised salt, do not get into gimmick of non refined wood pressed cold pressed oils and rock pink salt etc, you can have refined oils but treat oil as some cooking ingredient like gas flame thing than actually consuming loads of oil like it is some food. Refined oil is a cooking tool. Not some nutritious substance. Refined Iodised salt is a must. You don't get iodine from somewhere else. I hope you factually study this. Thank You.

@Shortleft_Travels you mentioned the place you're leaving is warm/humid. Which place are you staying in? Generally, it always happens the consistency of laddoo becomes flat when it's warm due to ghee. In that case, let the laddoos rest for some time, sprinkle powder sugar over it, and try to roll it again in round shape after 8-10hrs.

Diwali is incomplete without homemade besan laddu 😊 By the way, usually any laddu is larger than single morcel size, but besan laddus are usually smaller than other like Rawa laddus. Also, the real validation of besan laddu comes after a couple of hours. If the ghee is too much, they will "sit down" 😂 That's literally what we call it when they, well, 'sit down'. They spread, flatten, stick to the plate in which it's kept, and unfortunately if you have kept them stacked already, it forms a huge single lump 😅😅😅 There are ways to repair it, thoug

29 oct to 31 oct pre diwali. 1 nov Main diwali. 2 nov padwa 3 nov bhaubheej Sweets/snacks: Besan laddu, bhajni chakli, rawa laddu, shakarpali, karanji, tikat sev. Edit: Dont keep in freeze. These laddu sweets stay for more than 20 to 30 days. Store in dabba(air tight container).. It has its own natural preservative. Freeze will make ur laddu stiffy and taste will get change.
