Delightful Travellers im sure you can order other Filipino food not in their menu... like sinigang, bulalo, bicol express, tortang talong etc... pork and chicken adobo, squid sisig, inihaw na liempo, lechon kawali, etc... Crispy Pata is a must order... for veg dishes order some sayote, pritong talong, gisadong sliced green beans, etc...

You haven't really tried Original Sisig Kapampangan (dialect) of Pampanga (province - the culinary capital of the Philippines) mainly is made pork (part ears, jowl/cheek, or belly for those watching their cholesterol level) and definitely without egg nor mayonaise. To add those two ingredients is a travesty and insult to our cooking history as Kapampangans. Others try it with chicken or fish as well.

When my wife and I traveled to the Philippines (sadly 2018 was the last trip), we used a local Smart SIM on our Android phones and Smart has a 1GB/day for 50 php and we enable WiFi hotspots on Android so we can use it on our Laptops and tablets as well. When we use up the 1GB before 24 hours, we just load up the same deal as it rarely lasts that long, lol. Anyway, my point is if Smart signal is good and fast, you can use it as alternative WiFi. Works best on Android phones (wife had a Pixel 2, but I had an older Nexus 6, but worked in both phones). Stay safe and thank you so much for making the videos and sharing!

Sisig is very Filipino and comes from somewhere in Luzon: originally pork, then chicken, seafoods and what pinoys can think of. FYI, every section of the Philippines have their own “best”, so when lockdown is out, explore some more before moving out of Pinas, or you can return someday! Enjoy eating!

Helpful Hint: Look for a BPI ATM machine (Bank of Philippine Islands) to pull your money. The reason is that they allow you to pull our 20,000 pesos on each draw. This will save you on bank fees. All other ATMs in the Philippines will limit you to 10,000 pesos on each draw.
