Prices seem a little high.

This is perfect, right on with the price point. I'm looking to be in BGC because I like walking. I didn't care for the layouts or the furnishings, but I really appreciate seeing the newer condos. I will be reaching out to your team in May. Good luck Steve.

I just rented a 3-bedroom, 3-bath, 120 sqm condo in BGC for 90k php per month. There were several condos that were over 100 sqm and willing to rent to me for 90k php, so make sure that you don't just take the price that they offer you.

The grind doesn’t stop. Well done Evan. At least it wasn’t raining.😂. Be well.

USD to PHP has been holding steady at 1:58 - 1:59 for a while now and predicted to stay that way for the next year... so these USD estimates are way off... 90k php should be closer to $1525-$1550 usd. But it's way cheaper than the quoted $1800 usd

Very nice units Evan....are most of the condo buildings all non-smoking even outside at the pool areas?
@AutisticMorty2 сағат бұрын
Yeah, not only that, smoking is banned in BGC on sidewalks and parks. So you're paying $250K+ USD and can't smoke. The Philippines is very anti-smoking but don't mind 30 year old motorcycles without mufflers spewing fumes.

2-Bedroom are so over priced. Probably better to just get to 1bedroom side-by-side. The rooms looked nice but a little bit dated looking.

Hi Evan. The sound quality on the video is really poor. Suggest you get a mic to isolate your voice over the background noise.

Are there any agent fees when renting?

I’m a multi millionaire and that seems way overpriced. PH getting squeezed more and more every year

Cool story bro.

I just moved to KL after 14 months in PH. Infrastructure, internet not working in broad daylight, noise, and people lying for no reason got to me eventually.

Very expensive. Thailand you could do 50% of these prices and you can be walking distance to the beach. Nearest beach to Manila is 2-3 hours away minimum. Living in Manila has a lot of challenges, like always needing to wait in line 15-20 minutes whenever you check out (because so many people), or how expensive it is for foreigners to get cash at ATMs. But very hard to move around, makes you feel trapped in one area, combined with small apartments because 2 and 3 bedroom units are rare so you'll pay a lot if you want space and comfort. Spain and Portugal offer a better deal and lifestyle with a good climate. Or just look at Thailand, Vietnam or Bali.

well, his conversions are off for the current rate... 90k php is actually about $1550 usd right now.

I don't think you've spent any time in BGC because you don't know what you are talking about right now (other than the beach)... but people don't live in Manila for the beach... there are plenty of other places in the Philippines to live if you want a beach nearby, and those places are way cheaper than BGC. Maybe you should spend some time in the Philippines before you act like you know something about it.

Must be a lot of broke people that watch this video complaining about the prices. Where I live in USA a small apartment is $2300 a month
