Your comment isn't far wrong. Before FilmRise took over airing the Medical Detectives [Forensic Files] episodes, I read a comment that the son wouldn't let his mother's remains be buried because she was abusive to them and abandoned them. Yes me too. Did you ever see the episodes where a womans body was found in a barrel? It was in someone's attic or garage for over 20 years. The person who moved in after the old owners, discovered it. It turns out that it was a young female from El Salvador. It was tragic because the mother in El Salvador said she new something happend to her, she felt it all along! She had affair with her boss, she was a seamstress in a factor , she got pregnant. When she confirmed her pregnancy to her boss, he killed her. And was the one who had left her body in old house. Some cases stick out.
