I swear to God whoever invented polygraph has caused more harm than good. It is the most useless test. Seasoned criminals always beat the polygraph but average people fail it.

It depends on the person administering it, their biases, their intuition. I'm pretty sure the person that administered the tests in this case, was a misogynist and viewed Candra as a floozy, Brown as a victim of her "feminine wiles" Chris watts failed his, and he also killed his entire family.

For some reason they never showed any actual photos of Thomas Brown. He is still in prison serving a life sentence but he may possibly be paroled next year. Truly one of the saddest and most bizarre cases on FF. Update: Thomas Brown no longer shows up in the Oregon inmate search so he was either paroled or died in prison, I'm not sure.

@officerahmo

You clearly don't get the point of a polygraph. It is a tool like any other INVESTIGATIVE tool. Not a definitive answer like forensics, it's a tool used to draw conclusions. In this case, not the right conclusions were drawn. That's it.

The polygraph is said to measure the emotional responses of the subject by seeing physical signs. It says nothing about what caused those responses. Here, the girl was emotionally upset by being in the event. The polygraph probably measured her responses accurately, but the humans involved drew the wrong conclusions. That is why those who understand this never use the term "lie detector." It isn't one at all.

When they spotted one, a guy would shoot a high beam light at it. Another guy would use a scoped 22 and shoot it right between the eyes. It dropped right now. One time one of the guys took it to his garage, threw down newspapers and field dressed it. Then he takes the papers and the deer guts and throws it along a road. She comes off as a little full of herself when she first started talking. A couple of miles is not far, you can walk 2 miles under 30 mins. If she was really scared, she would’ve went off by herself, I mean, you’re “old enough” to have sex and get married but you can’t walk on your own? Are you kidding me?

Poor Rusty the dog, was killed trying to defend his owner. Every time someone shoots an innocent animal for no reason at all, I would do the same thing to the shooter or shooters. This dog was also a victim of a deranged criminal who killed Julio too. Candra and Julio were in the wrong place at the wrong time when they met this man, Tom Brown. May Julio and Rusty Rest in Peace always 🙏🙏

What you said is stupid. Clearly they believe in God and you have them to marry young as not to be in fornication. People married at young ages back then to prevent this problem especially since that's when hormones are on the rise. That's why they see all these people fornicating and having babies out of wedlock and no daddy around. They have no commitment to one another.

I guess u would rather them fornicate and be together as long as she doesn't marry him.. U probably would have no problem with ur 15-16 year old daughter having a different boyfriend every year but the second she says she wants to get married u would lose ur mind! This is why there are so many children born out of wedlock and so many STDs going around.. "Mom, I'm done with Dave and im dating Mike now".. "Ok honey as long as ur happy".. "Mom I broke up with Mike and now im dating Josh".. "Ok honey, as long as ur happy"... U would have no problem with this cycle and ur daughter being used by different guys but the minute a good guy asks for her hand, u would go crazy! SMH!!!

This couple were too naive. If a man approached you too eager to help and separate you it’s a red flag. There are too many bad stories happened in the woods. The tugs believe there are no witnesses they can do whatever they want. There is story where entire family was murdered because they befriended a man who seemed nice and help at the beginning all he was interested is to rape one of the daughters (very young daughter I may add), and then he killed her too.
