Foreplay/Long Time by Boston, Drum Cover by Gary Schneider GS on Drums

Foreplay/Long Time is one of my favorites. It was on their debut album "Boston". Every song on that album is good. The drummer, Sib Hashian is awesome....his fills, timing and overall feel are great. I hope you like the drum cover.....I had a little fun with this one.

I saw them play this in a concert at the Nassau Coliseum around 1976-1977 and it was the standout song to me that night. They were amazing and the sound system was way to loud. My left ear was knocked out for hours.......You do a fabulous job covering this one......They could never top this album.....Brad Delp hit every note that night and I just don't know how they sounded so perfect but they did !!!

Hi Gary. What kind of snare are you playing in this video? I recently purchased a DW Performance 8x14 maple. Do you recommend metal snares?

The snare is a Ludwig Suphraphonic 6.5x14 chrome steel. I do like these, especially for classic rock.

Nice cover. You know traditional grip was developed by marching drummers, in the case of right handers, because the drum hung on their right leg making matched grip of the left hand a little awkward. Saw these guys in Oakland. Eddie Money, Sammy Hagar played first.
