Thief 1 turned me into a gamer for life and I thoroughly enjoy playing The dark project and The metal age every other year. To my ears they are unmatched in sound design. Really hope with the new Thief IP acquisition by Embracer group they will at least make a proper remake of the first two games, if not a proper sequel. That 2014 Thief attempt was really lackluster, wasted opportunity.

Honestly one of my favorite levels from the first two games. The contrast between a rapidly industrializing city and magical forest made the world of Thief feel real. It made me wonder what else was out there.

This gives a very strong "AIR - Moon Safari" vibe, specifically their music "La Femme d’argent" albeit in a more synthesized, lower key form.
