Forest is top 4 after half the season, so this is not a fluke. Maybe they keep this up, maybe they don't, but 5 wins in a row is impressive. 11 wins and only 4 losses in 19 games. The defense is ridiculously good. Other players are starting to score. If they can pick up another scorer and midfielder in January they become even more dangerous. Who behind them is better? The last two years at the end of the season the question was "will they stay up?". This year it will be "can they stay in the top 4?". Hopefully the fun continues in 2025.

I find it weird that Wolfie is whining about Cooper after that miracle man brought us back to be among the worlds 40 best football teams in the world in almost no time after decades in the darkness. The identy and style Coops created was unique, and even if he had to start all over from scratch after the brililant promotion season where Forest only had Derby behind them on the table until the man with the plan came along. Among a whole bunch of useless players brought in, Coops signed MGW, Elanga, CHO, Awoniyi, Aina, Murillo, Williams and Wood. The very core and identity of this incredible team who's aspiring for a CL-place. Without the goals and assists from this very gifted players we would be back in Championship already. And even with a huge lack of decent midfielders, Coops managed to beat both Liverpool and Arsenal in our first season back in PL. He also had two draws against Chelsea, which pointed out that we was about to reach the same level as the best 3 clubs in PL. Nuno is sure doing great too, thanks to the team, identity and style Coops was the creator of. Now we also can beat those lower half clubs like United and Tottenham quite comfortably. Next year we might face the likes of Barcelona, Bayern Münich, Inter, Real Madrid and PSG. This Cooper style with a playmaker, two wingers and some really fast players has proven to be very hard to beat after Nuno got Milenkovic on board. And the rock solid Morato also looks very promising. We won't see Coops and Nuno team up like Clough and Taylor, but I'm more than happy as long as Nuno keeps building on Coops ideas. Because they fits this great club so well that we're allowed to dream big again. What an amazing journey these last 3 years has been, COYR.

@barley4813 Cooper was garbage in the PL - simple as that. Good Championship manager but totally out of his depth in the PL and the football was atrocious. There was no methodology or way of playing, it was just everyone behind the ball and if it's not working throw all your attacking players on with hardly any time left and hope for the best - just like Dyche. But I imagine he's mentioning Cooper as certain people were in meltdown when Cooper was rightfully sacked, wanted him to stay forever and claimed Nuno was a downgrade. If Cooper was still manager we'd be in the bottom half of the table probably in 15th or something but certain people still haven't apologised or admitted they were talking utter drivel a year ago. The amount of hate and abuse some of us got for wanting Cooper out and better for the club was a disgrace and still yet to see any contrition or apology - so there we go. Thank goodness Marinakis ignored certain people is all I'll say

I've backed Nuno from the start...some unfortunately were slaggibg him off and wanted him gobe after first game. He is world class. We have an owner who backed us in the transfers and its all coming together. This is year 3 of a 5 year plan and were doing better than any of us imagined. Shout out to Dominguez and Anderson yesterday. Finally we saw how solid they were and looking to unleash MGW. We're loving the Nuno years Cheers Wolfie fir tge updates...keep smiling ❤🌳

Give some credit to Sosa. 15 minutes before kick-off Morato (my MoM) was already playing. Sosa was looking at bench warming until 10 or 20 mins from the end at best. Probably had a burger. Then you get the call. He wasn’t great but really gave us good cover.

Keeping MGW, Wood, and the back line fit, will be crucial to Forest's continued success. In all honesty, even Derby Clownty could have beaten Everton yesterday. Thank god, we didnt take a punt on Gruffalo as a manager. Everton fans, cant wait to see the back of him. COYR

Sels has been awesome recently, I believe his distribution is excellent, take a look back at some of the games he’s made some brilliant long passes. I think his only weakness at the moment is sometimes when he has to punch the ball. However, in fairness when he has resorted to this, it seems to have worked, so I honestly can’t fault him at the moment ” Matt Sels, in the middle of our goal”….. get in…

I was checking the last 10 years standings, 60 points guarantees a place in Europe , and for CL needs 70 or a bit less. The first half of the season we got 37 points . So for CL we need a similar second half of the season, we can afford 2 more losses to get around 32 points, honestly considering the wins we had first half , this doesnt look easy at all. Opposite for Europe we need 23 points , around 6-7 wins and couple draws. Just by winning the bottom teams at home, and a few more, i think Europe looks almost guaranteed to me.
@Clemo19913 күн бұрын
Now we have a cushion from the team below us. we just got to keep matching them if they lose, we can afford to lose a game, and the other thing is, 5th will probably be champions league football next season so even if city catch us we still got 7 points gap over 6th place

Would like to hear your thoughts as to whats going to happen when danilo and Sangaré are fit? They wont go strait in obviously, but you could argue they are better options than yates or Dominguez, but they offer a huge amount of heart which ive not seen from Sangaré yet
@barley48133 күн бұрын
I would be really happy to get £10 mill back for all the money we spent on this miserable Sangaré project. But I'm not too happy about keeping Yates for another season or two. With those two and JPW off the books we could buy a rock solid DMC, and a promising youngster as well. Awoniyi can be given another 4 months chance since our options are extremly limited. But if he still isn't able to meet his own standards by then, it's time to just let go. A great player with a really great personality, but now it's about competing at the highest level. I hope Danilo can be on the bench against Liverpool, and I'm sure he will be back in the XI in february. Better than ever in front of M&M. We have a team for the future, and Danilo has a great future ahead at WFCG.

Every single pundit who by the way mostly don’t even bother watching Forest properly, keep saying they can’t Keep this form up. There’s probably going to be a blip but I think that’s what it will be a blip and we will definitely stay in the top four as I predicted on one of your pre-or early season videos I cannot remember which one but when I have time I’m going to find it and clip it. Me and my Lad were there yesterday and it was awesome. Have to disagree about preferring Samba over Sels. Samba was a ticking time bomb and I'd sooner have a calm and collected keeper who does their job than someone who can get sent off just like that. Don't get me wrong, I liked Samba and he got the fans going etc but it's like Nuno and Cooper isn't it? Cooper had the fistpumps but was garbage in the PL where as Nuno just gets on with the job but says and does very little - I know who I prefer

Keep laying the boot in on Cooper, its pure class! We love it! What's he ever done for us anyway! He should have took those 31 new players and had us playing free flowing football and we should have stayed up way more comfortably despite a shite load of injuries. Oh, by the way, these runs are put togther by very fine margins and should we have lost a couple of games more in a row playing the exact same football we are now, i guarantee you'd be slating Nuno as well.
@ForestFanTV3 күн бұрын
You think we should have kept Cooper then? Guess we would be first not second if he was still around?
@airzee5153 күн бұрын
@ForestFanTV you only deal with the extremes so I'm not surprised that's what you take from that comment. No sensible middle ground is there. Nuno is a better manager and coach, he's the next step in our journey. Cooper had a much harder proposition for any manager let alone one who's first time in the Prem. It was an absolute circus and he kept us up. Nuno scraped by with a team that already knew how to defend for the most part. Trimmed all the fat from the squad with a calmer pre season, some great signings and ultimately a more experienced tougher team. Nuno is still the better manager. I'm glad he's here. He would not have faired well in Coopers situation either but that is my opinion. We wouldn't be here without Cooper and you're not exactly great at giving respect when it's due unless we're flying. You are disrespectful so I like to show that some of us forest fans have a little more class. I like your channel when we're winning, it makes me laugh but when things don't go well you're a bit flakey. We are flying so np need to go back to slating Cooper, it didn't sit well with some at the time, so I like to just keep you in check when you misbehave 😉 😆... That said... We are all still Forest!
@ForestFanTV3 күн бұрын
always happy to be kept in check and for anyone to say anything. It's not censored but I wont change my mind, Cooper was one of the best championship managers. He is not a prem manager. BTW I appreciate it when people dont agree, keeps the convo more interesting so much respect to you
@airzee5153 күн бұрын
@ForestFanTV Fair play. What I would say to that is Forest were not a Prem team either. Far from it. Last time a team came up with such an average championship team that punched well above their weight was probably Derby and we all know how that went.... Brilliantly from my point of view 😂... We went a different route and bought in dozens of new signings. The last time that happened was ... Never! So I guess all I'm saying is he needs a little bit of credit for keeping us up and we move on respectfully as I'll say it again ... We ain't here without him!

Imagine, as an opposition player, you pick up the ball on the halfway line and dribble all the way to our back four and see Morato/Murillo, Aina, Milenković & Williams etc. waiting for you, it’s squeaky bum time for you & long may it continue. Cooper was a decent championship coach but the prem was a bridge too far, end of.
@davidhirst72273 күн бұрын
@battleofnerves: I was 'Cooper out' at the end, he just wasn't good enough and had run out of ideas. But he did get us out of the Champoinship from bottom of the league after 8 games, he also did keep us up in the Premier League when we were odds on to be relegated. So I take my hat off to him, however he was nowhere hear the class act that followed him.
