Forest of Dean and The Black Bridge Cycle Ride | Lydney | England

Cycling from Lydney in England through the Forest of Dean on the hunt for the abandoned and unearthed Mierystock Tunnel and Stowfield Railway Bridge also known as The Black Bridge, an old disused railway viaduct that crosses the River Wye.
I've been planning this one for a little while. I had previously struggled to find a route to use that would avoid the roads as much as possible. Not all the cycle trails are linked up at the moment. The goal was to reach the Black Bridge or at the very least the River Wye but it would depend on my energy levels that day, while taking in a few locations on the way.
I came across some really beautiful locations on this cycle which surpassed what I thought it would be like and despite some damp conditions from the rain we had earlier that week the autumn colours in the forests and along the roads really made this a nice cycling day.
By the end of my ride it started to rain and so the trip back to the station was quite a wet one and all roads but I got there in the end.

plenty of wild camping opportunities around those areas….thumbs up for the lights too….see so many without them…coffee for the buzz home ☺️🙂👍🏻

Yes, I can see me cycling further on some time in more warm weather. Lights, absolutely. Flashing lights even in the day on the road. Anything for visibility.

So far at 7 mins in, its a good bike riding vid, super but the big thing missing is personality, a few subtitles can be usefull however there is nothing quite like a human voice, that creates a connection with the viewing public. You have to project yourself out there, the basics are there, you have to talk to the camera, put some personality into it.

Oh.. these vids totally pack personality 🤩 I personally like the Mystery of these relaxing informative vids as they are ..the connection is still there.. why would you Wana be like everyone elses vids..Madison Ten is special.. talking is tiring anyway..save the puff for the turf 🚵‍♂️💨 💜 If was aiming for likes in popularity stakes then maybe Mad'll take on this advice but I feel the special sharing aspect is apt, just & sufficient 😛😘🥰😄
