Doesn’t matter how many times I watch this performance or even just hear them singing this , they never fail to move me.🥺Magnificent interpretation and my own personal favourite version. When Serge Lama, the writer and original singer of this autobiographical song watched this video, he reached out to Forestella to congratulate them on this performance. He then uploaded this video on all his social media platforms and asked all of France to watch this gem he’d discovered in the East. This is an homage to a Lara Fabian’s Montreal concert version, but with their own vocal arrangements for 4 voices etc …absolutely flawless in my opinion. Each quartet in this 12-episode spin-off series Phantom Singer All Stars in 2021 was responsible for the staging and presentation etc. and I love every little choice Forestella made here. I completely agree with you, the emotions that are released here are incredibly impressive. Each voice is incredibly attractive and appealing in its own right, and together they create a unique synergy that is addictive. The original (from the 70s) is by Serge Lama, covered countless times, among others, and probably most famous in the version by Lara Fabian.

Not only did they sing it outstandingly, but they performed the song telling the story and touching the audience's heartstrings. The song's different sections, the introduction, the different parts that each singer performs, the crescendos, the a cappella section, and the ending demonstrate a well-planned arrangement.
