This song is Forestella's concert opening song and the concert title is The Forestella; same as their 3rd album title. They said their concert would be a journey to find the self-identification for their own. Every time I feel like I cannot love them more, but they make me love them even more!

I highly respect the Forestella guys for even touching this one - and mastering it pretty much. If you haven't done so before, do yourself the favour and also listen to the Original by Yoko Kanno, featuring the Russian vocalist Origa. It is fantastic. Yoko Kanno is one of the most talented composers I know (if not, perhaps, THE most talented one). She is mainly known for her anime soundtracks (like this one), but it appears that lately she's recognized as the composer powerhouse she is in Japan - she even played at the ceremony for the new Japanese Emperor. :)

They did this song for Phantom Singer All Star (all the top 3 teams from each season coming back together for some friendly competition and to perform together). This is the very reason why the teams universally agreed that Forestella was their toughest competition because no one ever knew what kind of performance they would come up with (other than they were going to 100% slay it). If you watch the rest of the full episode, the whole audience was so immersed/stunned they forgot to clap at the end and someone even asked if they could clap now.

This is the most experimental performance they have ever made, and they have been waiting for several years and finally get the chance to do it. What a wonderful and stunning performance! Thanks alot! You've reacted this! Good job uploading this in weekend. I hope JTBC not to block this at least till workdays.. I told you to blur the Time in a Bottle like you did on La Poem's Rolling in the Deep bcs I knew they would block it.. You know what? The Shape of You performance was for match vs La Poem's Rolling in the Deep in Phantom Singer All Stars. JTBC version has fantastic visual, much more flamboyant than KBS Open Concert version. If you saw that, you would understand why and how regretful I feel it's blocked for abroad.. KBS cared them much so brought them and made the stage like that you reacted. To show Forestella to the world! (That's what I felt and I'm appreciating so much to KBS for giving them such a chance.) JTBC even didn't upload their Inner Universe on KZbin. I think they'll block this as well (in this case blur neither wouldn't work..) but I appreciate for your effort. I am afraid this kind of block by JTBC make you hesitate to choose Forestella to react. It already happened to some..KBS would be much more friendly to reactioners. They even showed the reactioners on TV when reminding Forestella's global acknowledgement.

JTBC are really bad at promoting their content to overseas viewers unlike KBS (who even puts out algorithm based playlists and English translated titles!). Some Korean comments were telling JTBC to find a way to make the video clips available outside of SK but still..... Speaking of Shape of You I liked PSAS version better because of the audience. It's always fun watching everyone get floored by Woorim's "Mamacita".

FYI Phantom Singer All Stars(PSAS I'll say) is a show bringing all the finalists groups from each season back to stage and having festival with a lil bit of competition- that's what JTBC said but they intended war between groups- 9 groups from Phantom Singer(PS I'll say) series showed magnificent performances. Every single group has the own charm, including la Poem (PS 3 winner) and Forestella (PS 2 winner) for sure. If you try anything from PSAS you'll see great performances. No bad singer there. The problem is JTBC's blocking things abroad! Even the reactions! I cannot understand them..
