I got a nikon 3100 a few years ago for $500 on ebay and it's quite good. I saw new ones on nikon's page and they are 400-500 dollars, the nikon 3500, which is the one I love is $700 but so good. Personally, I don't like Canon cameras, I feel they change the real colors :(

I know you said you wanted to wait with the lighting until after you get your new camera. But on Amazon there is something that would work great honestly. It's a panel that attaches to the top of your camera and it has 160 mini LED bulbs. It's only 26 dollars too. It's by a good company, and I think with a new camera and if you were to get that little panel that would be all you need. It doesn't hurt to try. It might even work with the camera you have now. I'll try and find the link and post it as a reply to my comment.

And also, a really good camera is the one that bfvsgf just bought. It's a Canon Rx 100 M3. Their videos are sooo clear now and the lighting is very good on them even in the dark. It's a bit pricey and I don't know your price range but they're running about 800$ but I think it's a very good investment that would last you a long time.

Sami another upside to getting a canon camera is that you can adjust the exposure! You can make your videos more bright and make the lighting a lot better!! PLEASE LIKE SO SHE CAN SEE :DDD

Sawyer Hartman has the best quality of simple yt videos and he use a canon eos rebel t5. I'm not sure for 100% but quality its amazing.

I thought Sawyer won a crazy expesnive Red camera that has like 4k exposure. I tried watching one of his videos with that camera and my laptop wouldn't even recognize it. It didn't want to process the 4k. :/

You should get A Canon EOS T5i. I have it and I love it! It's especially perfect for beauty videos because it has automatic focus on video, so when you do close-ups, if it's out of focus it will fix itself.

I know people will disagree, but I fell you are changing your style to a more "mature " one. More plain and cute and I LOVE it. I would die to see you in skinnies or jeggings. Or in a nice classic dress. I think this is a good change, the really chic style fits you better. I am not a big fan of the leggings (as I fell legging are the work of the devil I hate them on me, even though I am skinny. But I do like the cool flesh or muscle print ones.) For the canon that you want, I would say if your also interested in taking pictures with it as well as filming I would definitely say Canon Rebel T3i / 600D. I have it for my channel and its made the videos sosososo much better quality, the sound quality is amazing and is pretty good at catching light. Also really great with studio lighting if your still going to get it! Hope this helps 💕

Canon t3i is made for video videos! I recommend that! Plus you can get different lenses so as you start to make your videos more high deaf you can can upgrade! I also suggest that you should get a microphone with your camera to reduce the eco and make your video sound overall better! :) Thumbs up if you agree!

I use a Nikon D3200 DSLR for filming my videos and love it! :) It's not cheap but it's worth it. My mom was a professional photographer for years and always swore by Nikon cameras. I know a lot of KZbinrs use Cannons but you should look at other options as well. Just a suggestion, good luck finding a new camera.

I honestly recommend investing in a Cannon Rebel t3i . The quality is amazing, both sound and picture. And it's worth the money. Many youtubers use the Cannon Rebel, so I think it would be the ideal choice. Either way I love your videos Sam!

I personally use the a Canon T3i for filming my videos. You can get remotes for it for super cheap as well. I like the camera because it's good for videos and pictures (: The only downside is the size. But that's no big deal.

Canon T3i is what most beauty gurus use as it focuses on their face and blurs the background. But I think they also purchased a lens to make it go like that. Anyway, I recommend the Canon T3i as I saw it in a shop and it was amazing quality. Expensive at first but lasts for years and you wont regret purchasing it.

Cannon power shot hs x50 loveeee IT! I have it and it's absolutely amazing! I think it retails for around 400$! It has a flip screen on the side and it focuses very well!

I have a Canon Rebel T3 and have used that for the few videos I've put on KZbin. The T3i is also good, it just has a viewfinder which is really an advantage for making beauty videos. I've seen so many people on KZbin use either of those cameras and the quality is amazing on both :)
