If you’re here to discuss a heat protectant please keep it to yourself. I’ve been using them for years and have yielded the same results. The video is for those learning to straighten their hair AT HOME. I will only be trimming and straightening twice per year. Now enjoy the video.

ForeverCryssy do not cut your “heat damaged hair” it’s been almost 3 years without heat/relaxer/hair dye and in the first year my curls came back. Your hair will revert. You just have to take good care of your hair. Deep conditioners and hot oil treatments helped me! (My hair also got thicker and stronger)

Ummm...it doesn’t matter instead of having to constantly cut your heat damaged hair you could stop heat damaging with flat ironing or you could actually use a heat protectant.like com on now why would you constantly cut off heat damaged hair when you could not straighten your hair so much and use a freakin heat protectant like OMG you really don’t hair to keep cutting your hair like OMG

Hair starts to burn at 450... by the time you get to the front of your head the flat iron is probably hotter too so you’re working at 460 470 temperatures closer to your face that’s why you have heat damage. You could successfully straighten it on 400 with patience 😐

Heat protectant doesn’t just come in a bottle. Shampooing, deep conditioning, conditioner, and leave in conditioner are essential to not having heat damage. Along with proper care and maintenance.

I wish the brush & dryer method worked for me. I have to have a dryer w a comb attachment. I must get it as straight as possible or my hair doesn't straighten right. 🤦 & I do not always use heat protector & I've nvr had a problem w damage so it all just depends on your process 🤷 heat protector doesnt always save your hair from damage ! Your hair is so beautiful and thick omg😍 you did an amazing job with this press. The brush you used to blow dry is awesome, it got your hair so straight without even flat ironing is that a denman brush? I have a paddle brush that says denman, but I don’t think it’s the real deal or maybe am just not using it right or maybe my cause my 4c hair is just too course cause it gets stuck in my hair and it doesn’t allow me to easily brush through my hair the you were able to in the video. I totally understand about the ashy brown... I have that color all in the front of my hair😭

Nothing about heat is healthy. The oil actually allows the hair to burn at a lower heat. The best way to avoid damage is to straighten on a low heat or to not do it at all.
