For any Americans out there, brave enough for this, here's what the net says: "Hair burns at the same temperature as paper: 451°F. And really, anything over 420°F is a bad idea. At that point, the keratin protein in your hair starts to melt and no amount of deep-conditioning will help. Thankfully, there's a temp that's just right: 365°F"

Another tip sis...DO NOT apply more heat, on top of that same silk press....always wash and start over again. You just have to be diligent in finding ways to keep your hair from coiling back up toward the scalp.

You can do a Blowdry and trim. I recommend getting it trimmed by a professional. But of course the best trimming results will be on straight hair, but if you don’t straighten your hair often, you can do it in blow out state. I recommend blow out, or straightened hair for tightly coiled hair because those curls “love” staying together and you can risk the chance of having unevenness when trimmed in curly state, in my person opinion.

so my nape area looks identical to hers,every year it will grow break off so I have my husband to shave it low as he can and start over this is every year,I am 57,so I am trying something different this time less stress and use wild growth hair oil as instructions along with biotin,and keeping it covered so my hands out be back there,the rest of my hair is super thick and coarse shoulder length, sorry for the long text any suggestions? thanks

That’s a perfect regimen. Try to apply the oil at least twice a week. Also take pictures so you can see the growth difference as well. Drink “plenty” of water and make sure that your nutrition is in good standing as well. Hope this helps 😊❤️

You can use serum, try not to use any products with water or any type of moisture in it. Wrapping your hair each night is one of the best ways to keep up. If it gets frizzy wrap your hair, put some serum on it and tie it down. Or you can use the jumbo( grey or purple) flexi rods to roll it; put serum on your hair and tie it down to shake it back. Hope this helps 😊

Stress less, find ways to meditate and get castor oil, horsetail oil, and tea tree. Mix them together and apply to the stress spot daily. Or at the very least 2 times a week and Most importantly be consistent with applying it to that area. Take before and after pictures
