I internally gasped at the idea of people thinking the ToF Oracle is superficial just because it’s pretty lol. Like where does this myth come from that something has to look like a dying moose painted it w shit in order for it to have depth or value? Some people are so weird lol. Also I fully cannot w a $100+ deck purchase. Like there’s always going to be at least one perfect storm situation where that’s a viable option, but like for them to cost that on the regular? I’m out lol. Though I do think what people like you and I charge is beyond fair. I’ve seen some people complain that indie decks should cost the same as MM decks and um, no lol. The amount of work to create a deck is insane, and then by the time you take out taxes, website fees, production costs, shipping costs - it’s not much as is. And we can’t print for pennies like the MM companies do. Thanks for participating in my tag, I enjoyed your VR! 💖

I have the original Threads of Fate oracle deck (the big square box). Though I don't use it any near enough times haha maybe I should look at it again.

It really pisses me off when you pay a lot of money for a deck and the production quality just doesn’t warrant it. I felt that way about The R Black deck. It was $100 😮and the cards are printed on cardstock that is like index cards and very small, the box is crappy, and there is no guidebook only key words. I love love love the artwork but I rarely use the deck because every time I do I smack my head about allowing myself to get ripped off. I love thé Threads of Fate Shadow edition so much. Agree with you about the guidebook. All the cards except from the Ether suit are connected to a plant, an animal, and a crystal and I just love that and find it so useful. With ToF I tend to just pull a card a month. Also love the Moon deck and the lovely wooden box. I tend to pull cards from that either on the Full Moon and /or the New Moon. I’m just sort of just blathering comments as you go through your deck choices!!! 🤣🤣🤣 loved seeing your choices btw

The more I see it, the more I think I would really vibe with it.
